Library Board

The Moriarty Community Library's Board meetings are open to the public. They are held the 4th Monday of odd months at 6:30pm.

Our Mission Statement...
The mission of the Moriarty Community Library is to provide timely and appropriate resources for information, education, culture, technology and recreation, while nurturing a lifelong love for reading and learning.

Volunteer Opportunities:
The library is looking for volunteers to work evenings from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. We also need patrons with basic computer skills such as creating email accounts, search the internet, creating Microsoft Word Documents, and Excel SpreadSheets.

Upcoming Events

Fingerprinting for Your Childs Safety:
Friday, January 28th - 2PM to 6PM in the Civic Center.
Any age child is welcome to participate!
There is no charge for this service. This is a safety procedure that, hopefully, will never be needed. Your child will NOT be entered into any official database. Your child will be fingerprinted and a Polaroid picture will be taken. You fill out the physical description and the card and picture are yours to keep in a safe place.

We'll have cartoons running and coloring pages available for the children to use while they are waiting their turn!

Bi-Monthly Book Sales

Book Sale Dates:
We have upcoming book sales on March 18th and 19th. On May 20th and 21st, and on July 15th and 16th.

The book sales will be held during our regular library hours at the Moriarty Community Library.

Book Donations

Donations of books, videos, cd's, book-on-tape, and craft supplies are always welcome.

These items are added to our collection, passed on to another library or sold to purchase new books.
